Our club offers Safe Sitter courses throughout the year. Safe Sitter® teaches young teens (6th-8th graders) everything they need to know to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. Students will learn life-saving skills such as how to rescue someone who’s choking, and helpful information like what to do if there’s severe weather. The lessons are filled with fun activities and role-playing exercises. Students even get to use manikins to practice choking rescue! (www.safesitter.org) We have over 1000 graduates so far!
Currently scheduled classes are listed in the registration form below.

This event is Food for Other's largest fundraiser of the year and brings together the local community for a morning racing against hunger here in Fairfax County and Northern Virginia. They have 500+ community members join us at Tysons Corner Center where they hold the Runner's Village on the PenFed Plaza with the race taking place around the mall. With this, they need all the support possible to make the event happen including 20 course marshals that help guide runners out on the race course and help cheer everyone on. The shift would begin around 7am with everything wrapping up by 9:30am, where everyone meet with vendors/sponsors at the Runner's Village as well as enjoy some breakfast.
