The Kiwanis Club of Tysons is a great place to improve your involvement in our community while having fun and meeting new people. To become a member of the Kiwanis Club of Tysons, please follow our guidelines below:
Step 1: Attend club events
Before you decide if our club is for you, it is best for you to attend a few club events. Events include service projects, meetings, or socials. This will give you the opportunity to learn more about the club and meet our members. Check out our club’s calendar and e-mail our Membership Director at [email protected] to give us a heads-up if you plan to attend an event.
Step 2: Fill out our membership application form and pay club dues
After you have attended events, you are eligible to apply for membership to the club and pay dues for the current year. Our year runs October 1 – September 30 $155/year. You can join any time as dues are pro-rated by month — Complete your application here online today!
There is a discount for the first two years of membership for those who are new to Kiwanis but have been a dues paying member of our Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs (K-Kids, Builders Club, K-Kids, Key Club or Circle K International).
Step 3: Be assigned a member sponsor and get inducted
Each new member will be assigned a member sponsor. Your sponsor is usually someone you have met at a club event you have attended and who will help educate you on all the various programs, conferences, organization’s background, and benefits of Kiwanis to ensure you get the most out of your membership. New member inductions are very casual and are held during a club meeting.

This event is Food for Other's largest fundraiser of the year and brings together the local community for a morning racing against hunger here in Fairfax County and Northern Virginia. They have 500+ community members join us at Tysons Corner Center where they hold the Runner's Village on the PenFed Plaza with the race taking place around the mall. With this, they need all the support possible to make the event happen including 20 course marshals that help guide runners out on the race course and help cheer everyone on. The shift would begin around 7am with everything wrapping up by 9:30am, where everyone meet with vendors/sponsors at the Runner's Village as well as enjoy some breakfast.
