Kiwanis Monthly Meeting – January 5th @ 7:30pm

Join us for our monthly online meeting! Our meeting speaker is Steven Myers, the Service Learning Resource Teacher for Fairfax County and President of the Virginia Career Development Association. Service learning involves students in authentic and meaningful service to their communities therefore developing their career and personal civic interests. This educational approach includes partnering with an agency (usually a non-profit or social service group) while learning theories in the classroom. The long term goal outside of potential career development is lifelong community engagement.
