Who We Are The Kiwanis Foundation of Tysons is a non-profit organization operating under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Foundation’s purposes and objects are to aid, benefit, care for, maintain, protect, educate and support worthy persons, causes and institutions in the Northern Virginia area and beyond. The Foundation is composed of all active members of the Kiwanis Club of Tysons, VA.
What We Do The Foundation’s goals are to raise money for and donate to charitable initiatives, such as Share of McLean, the Tahirih Justice Center, The Eliminate Project (Kiwanis International’s worldwide initiative), Generosity Feeds/Replenish Foundation, Food for Others, and more. It also provides support to the club’s Service Leadership Programs, including scholarships for Key Club and CKI members. In 2024, the Foundation is the sponsor of the first Kiwanis Polar Dip hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Tysons!
How to Help The Kiwanis Foundation of Virginia is a non-profit organization supported solely by voluntary contributions from Kiwanians and friends of the foundation who want to make an impact on the Tysons area and beyond. We are looking for more Kiwanians and Key Clubbers to come volunteer at the Girls on the Run NOVA 5K Race! It is happening at Jiffy Lube Live on May 16th, 6:15am arrival depending on which volunteer position you choose (later if for example, running in the race with kids that starts at 8am). We would love to see you for an interclub and service project. Kiwanis of Woodbridge signed up as general volunteers and will be working at the Starting line and Finish line giving out medals. Wear your Kiwanis shirts, or GOTR Pink and come on out! Let me know to look for you if you're coming and sign up with GOTR here!
